Anaheim could use a young sniper winger, but it wont be at the cost of McTavish. He’s not going anywhere.

Swap Primeau with a 2nd and I think that’s a solid deal. The Flyers are loaded with goalie prospects they don’t need another.

Agreed, there is no reason for MTL and ANA to trade major core pieces when said assets aren't at full potential yet.
What are your thoughts on McTavish's ceiling ? ppg? 100+ pts?

Just an absolute colossal overpayment for Hart. I'd be willing to move the Florida pick and maybe Mesar or one of our defensive prospects. Take out Xhekaj and Primeau

I think he becomes an 70-80 point power forward, and probably takes over the 1C spot eventually.

You say colossal overpay and I say ur revised deal is a massive underpay and the Flyers laugh it off the phone. I mean realistically if the team wants to compete soon your going to need a goalie and nobody is just going to hand a very good one to you

Losing Xhekaj would hurt, but I would probably do the PHI deal.
...I'm passing on ANA's deal tough. I like MacTavish a lot, but the Habs can't afford to lose a pure sniper like Caufield (let alone paying a 2nd on top).

Hart is not a very good goalie. If Montreal is moving A first round pick and a player drafted in the first round as the centerpiece of a deal, it should be for a goalie that can put us over the edge like Saros. Hart hasn't shown any more than being a meh starter.

Yeah that’s just wrong lol. Hart is consistently above average in save percentage. Saros is years older and putting up barely better numbers on a much worse team. You can think Saros is better I won’t disagree but to say Hart isn’t very good shows you don’t know what you are talking about. Hart also drug the Flyers into game 7 of the 2nd round of the playoffs by standing on his head both series’. It isn’t his fault the team around him is horrible and can’t get him back there. Not a single goalie in this league would do much better on the Flyers. Idc if you put Vasy or Igor on the Flyers they would still put up similar numbers to Hart. I’m not saying he’s as good as either of them at all cause he isn’t but he is playing for a dumpster fire, who would be extremely successful here?

"Barely better numbers" and "Much worse team" ... what?

I am not trading the equivalent of two first round picks, a young promising defenseman, and a 2nd for Carter Hart lol that's just an absurd price.

What are you confused by? Saros’ numbers aren’t that much better than Hart and he plays on a way better team than Hart. He is also years older.

Yeah and that is totally fair. It’s the only thing you have said that is actually fair. Saying you aren’t willing to pay a price for a player is one thing. Saying the player is not great is just wrong lol

a .919 vs a .907.
46 GSAA vs 10 GSAA.

Not to mention Saros almost single handedly carried a team of AHL players into the playoffs. A "way better team" is a big stretch. Hart is fine but the comparison isn't in the slightest bit close.

If Nashville has AHL players, then Flyers have ECHL players and the West was much less competitive than the East. It is almost every year. Sorry but Hart would do just as well on Nashville and Saros would do just as poor on the Flyers and that’s coming from someone who is a huge Saros fan in myself

That would insinuate they are of equal skill, which couldn't be further from the truth.
