I don't think we should trade the 1st to dump a player. If we really want to get rid of Petry buy him out instead and keep the 1st. But I think Petry can be fine on the 3rd pair

Los Angeles declines. If the Kings are getting a draft pick for Sean Durzi, they're looking for a late 2023 first or early 2023 second.

Detroit don't need any retention. The player you've offered is a long shot and Määttä has just been resigned and is filling an importand role for us.

We can take Petry off your hands but this isn't the deal that does it.

Depending on the trade value chart you use, the gap between 14th and 20th is Toronto's 2nd (57th) or Seattle's 3rd (84th), not Winnipeg's 2nd (50th). But even if the value is right, Seattle's not giving up Borgen just to move up a few spots in the draft. His on-ice contributions and importance to the team exceeds whatever return he'd fetch in a trade.
