Description
- 1 mil cap increase
- I could easily see Clifton taking more money elsewhere. This is hopeful for a discount to stay in a place he really likes.
- Bruins have to REALLY trust Bussi for this to work. I could also see them signing a veteran for cheap to back up Swayman in case Bussi isn't necessarily ready.

**Trades**
CBJ: I've seen this a couple of times and it's been generally accepted.

EDM: Edmonton will probably be aggressively looking for a #1 goalie. If they can move out Campbell, I think moving a pick that is most likely going to be in the high 20s or 30-31 isn't an overpay for a goalie coming off of a Vezina-caliber season even if the playoffs weren't as successful.

ANA: Forbort can provide a steady defense-first veteran presence while being really good on the PK and buying some time for Mintyukov to develop (Zellweger should make the roster this season). Zegras, Fantilli, Gaucher, and McTavish could make Lundestrom moveable. With a year of control, I'd understand them not necessarily looking to move him especially since he can play the wing as well, and too much center depth is never a bad thing. Boston would be bringing in a talented young player capable of playing Center and Wing. Also, maybe he and Lysell can be Swedish buddies and develop together.

We'll give you a fifth for Forbort. We don't need another 2023 third with 6 picks ahead of that one, nor do we need to trade our #3C.

I think that CapFriendly has already factored the overage into your cap space, so you don't need to add that.

Overages already factored.

Edm does not have the cap space. Moving Campbell won’t be easy.

Ducks decline.

I'm on board with getting Forbort, but I have zero interest in moving Lundestrom. There's realistically no reason for the Ducks to give up young assets for 1 year of a 31 year old.

Plus Skinner is Edmonton's starter, not Campbell.

Has nothing to do with it. They’d need to move Campbell to take Ullmarks full contract.

Of course. I was referring to his comment "Edmonton will probably be aggressively looking for a #1 goalie. If they can move out Campbell, I think moving a pick..."

Not sure aggressive is accurate, but i’d feel a lot better if Skinner was my 2.

I think they'll run Skinner and Campbell as a tandem next year.

I don't see them aggressively perusing any goalie. It's just not in Holland's DNA.

Agreed.

Also, goalies are streaky and fickle from year to year at times. Jack could bounce back.

Lundy can be made avaliable, but we're not trading him for futures or rentals. We'd put him in a package for a guy like Carlo or a young top 6 winger.

It also says he can play wing but he really suffers when he is moved out of C, so I would only consider him as a natural center at this point.
