Hard pass from the Rangers. They'd be better off keeping the picks and buying out Goodrow. Seriously run it thru the buyout calculator. His contract was designed to save the team money if they bought him out. All these Goodrow trades make no sense.

No from Minnesota for multiple reasons. Besides the fact that the Wild can't afford to re-sign Caufield, I also doubt Guerin wants to add yet another under-sized player onto a team that already has Spurgeon, Addison, and Zuccarello. Also, the return is laughably lopsided towards Montreal. No way is Minnesota giving up their top prospect in Wallstedt, AND Brock Faber, AND the 23' 1st.

It's a great offer for Caufield but MTL wouldn't even do it
They will suck forever if they trade one of Suzuki/Caufield/Dach

Then you don’t know your hockey
Goalies are voodoos
Faber might be a 2nd pairing guy
21th OA : good prospect
One year of Foligno
Vs
1st line winger who scores a tons of goals …
MTL wouldn’t do this, especially when they are lacking talent up front
