if he doesnt wanna sign, then u ask him for the list of teams hed sign a contract with and you work an extension as part of the trade. And you get a good pick and a 2nd line replacement

I know it's arbitrary, but why is anyone paying a 5th for a guy who put up 4 points in 55 games last season?

Sharks decline that trade. We are already at a cap crunch and adding a $3M 18 point player isn't taking on a bad contract for a 2nd + 4th. We could probably grab a 2nd for Barabanov at TDL.

Barabonov is worth a 1st easily. Especially if they retain on him. He had as good of a season as Tarasenko and on an extremely low cap hit.
