Kings would trade a right-handed defenseman (but not Roy) for a left-handed defenseman, but aren't ABOUT to trade Roy for a forward, especially one with a big cap hit.

Pretty much every major trade here IMO is heavily skewed against the Pens.

Rust isn't moving. His contract isn't something a buying team would be interested in, but he's a genuine top 6 forward, making that trade horrendous asset management.

Guentzel's worth is the Bo Horvat return at the bare minimum. I think Teravainen is similar in value to Rust/Rakell.

I don't think Dakota Joshua is worth a 3rd, let alone a 3rd and a young puck moving defenseman like Joseph. IMO the 3rd should be going the other way, but moving both POJ and Smith is counterproductive.

I'd rather have Petry than Roy or Mayfield (and I think Mayfield is going to get a decent but more than that).
