How does the Cats trade value increase after a huge dip in goals & being a dash 31? Sens won’t get the return they paid for him, let’s move on!

No team is paying more for DeBrincat than what Ottawa paid, This is a royal joke. Especially for a one year rental with no guarantee of an extension in place.

You're not getting two 1st's for Cat. Or a 1st and a top prospect. Dream on.

Very inconsistent in terms of overall suggested value of returns from different teams, some are clearly a lot more valuable than others. but most, if not all of them, are higher than what the Sens gave for DeBrincat last summer.

The only trade that makes sense to the other "teams" would be the Isles trade, if they had the the cap.
The other teams have trouble fitting in DeBrincat into their cap. And even they did, they can spend DeBrincat's cap on a UFA or two and keep all those young assets.

Sorry, it was poor trade by Dorion. Didn't help the Sens last season, he's in effect a upcoming UFA. And if Sens can't move him, his QO is so high.....the Sens either don't qualify him, or have to trade good cap out of the link to fit him in.

Those 3 sentences really mean nothing to the value of players in these trades

This is true, But at the same time you made unrealistic trade demands for Debrincat. if you happened to look he had a pretty bad season with Ottawa. Your trade proposals are ludicrous and DeBrincat wouldn't even be traded to 90% of those teams.

1. Ottawa does not need to trade DeBrincat to all 10 of these teams.

We just need to trade him to 1.

2. Based on a couple of the comments in this thread, the trades with the Isles and the Caps are somewhat possible.

3. I recommend reading the description again.

It's only 3 sentences.

None of these 10 trades have to be made. True, and most of them wouldn't be made if the GM's were given the proposed cost.

None of these 10 teams have to trade for DeBrincat. This goes right back to point 1, most of those teams wouldn't make the trades with the given proposed values.

Please read this description before commenting. ok

You made an ACGM for what purpose other than to propose a perceived value for DeBrincat? Posters conveyed why the perceived value is off, and in defense of this you point to a description that has little bearing on what is proposed.

If this was solely to show huge returns for the player that would allow them to save face, then why make it in the first place? Ottawa could still save face in a return for DeBrincat without receiving more in a trade than they paid for him. I could make an ACGM for how Buffalo could save face in some of their trades by trading said player for the Bedard pick, or McDavid but it serves no purpose.

I don’t think Wright, Holtz or Levi would be available. Any of them with a 1st in teens this year seem about right. Any with 2024 1st (like Pageau and 2024 1st) seem a bit light.

I could see…

DET: #17 overall, one their 2nds, 2025 conditional 3rd
PIT: #14 overall, 2nd, conditional 2025 pick

Something along those lines

I don't see how your description should affect the feedback you've received in the AGM.

"None of these 10 trades have to be made."
"None of these 10 teams have to trade for DeBrincat."
Couldn't the same be said for any AGM on this forum? No trades posted in any AGM have to be made, but as a community we sure as 5h!t will discuss the trades presented by the OP of any AGM.

Perhaps you should clarify what you meant with your description beyond those sentences that don't say anything about any special properties of this AGM at all...

Anyway, DeBrincat is not nearly as valuable a commodity as you believe him to be.

Sure trade DeBrincat to the Isles and Caps if you want crappy returns, Neither of those 2 teams can offer up anymore than 90% of these teams. Isles don't even have the cap space for Cat and outside of the 8th overall pick the Caps don't have any meaningful pieces that wouldn't be beaten.

2. Based on a couple of the comments in this thread, the trades with the Isles and the Caps are somewhat possible.

1. Ottawa only needs to trade DeBrincat to just 1 team.

Once that happens, none of the other teams will matter.

2. The fact that you used the word "most" means I might have found that 1 team.
