Description
not a leafs fan but they should go for a more balanced approach since the top heavy strategy isnt working. for marner you get good young depth cheap and some grit with macewan plus picks. shed murray/brodie. bring back ROR/schenn. laughton is the type of player you want come playoff time, he is very underrated and does everything. add another sniper in vlad. bring in gudas to beef up the d core. and bring back freddy to pair with ilya. let bunting walk. whoever they bring in for gm should handpick the coach and go for a more balanced approach and that unfortunately means move one of marner/matthews since JT has a full nmc. and i would keep/resign/build around auston. **** on this all you want leaf fans lol

Look at the Kings cap situation and then maybe try again. Or don't.

Seriously, please don't. There are enough bad Leafs/Kings trades as it is.

Laughton for 1st round pick 1 for 1 or no deal. There’s 0% chance they trade Ersson

Kings don't have enough cap space to do that even if they wanted to, which they wouldn't want to do. They have 7.5m in cap so even with Durzi thrown in that's only 9.2 in cap they would have to add another 1.3m in cap to the trade just to make it work. If they did all that they wouldn't have any cap to fix the obvious problems they currently have so this is an all around bad trade for the Kings.

I mean if NSH can make the money work I'd take that, everyone else who isn't named Toronto declines though.

Cap won't work for LA

Murray gonna take more than that to dump

BOS 1st isn't that valuable, not terrible but PHI still declines.

When you’re rebuilding, no player is off limits. And Briere even said he’d listen on everything. If you hang the state of a trade back because of a AHL goalie you deserve to be fired.

He’s not an AHL goalie he will be an NHL starter. Do your research before commenting

Any Marner-to-Los-Angeles trade has to be cap-neutral for the Kings, and that means not just covering Marner's $10.9 million cap hit but also $1 million for each open roster slot created by sending you guys value and cap. Here, you're $9.2 million short on Marner (because right now, as a RFA, Vilardi isn't counting against our cap space, which is $7.5 million without him) and $1 million short on the guy who's going to take his roster slot (say, Rasmus Kupari).
