Why would we trade Teuvo for pennies? We have $14 million in cap space with this and he expires after this season anyways

Bjorkstrand had term

If Teuvo is moved, I could see it being a move where the canes upgrade on the top 6 not just dumping TT. If the Canes used their cap space to their advantage, they could retain half and make a quite attractive $2.7m top 6 winger for someone.

No, completely different situations, Bjorkstrand was a cap casualty. Carolina has a ton of cap space.
