This is a tricky one for WPG. Lowry is almost untouchable, but trading up to the 11th overall spot in this draft is something the Jets have to consider.

Don't care about Studnicka. He's a whatever 4th liner.

How about we do this...

Lowry and WPG's 1st and 4th for VAN's 1st, Beauvillier and Studnicka. That way you are getting what you wanted in the CAR deal, but just wrapping it up with WPG instead.

I like Beauvillier for WPG.

Girard plays more (and more important) minutes than Manson and he actually stays in the lineup. He also makes just $.5M more than Manson and is a lot younger. Makes no sense to keep Manson over Girard other than Manson has a NMC through the coming season. The Manson signing was a mistake; no reason to throw good money after bad by trading Girard ahead of Manson.
