We will not be paying a 1st to move Bailey....and there is no interest at all with Edmundson...so it's a moot point, Habs need to find someone else.

Sorry but a Habs fan posting what the isles need and what we would pay is not a good barometer of the teams direction.

Bailey had 28 points last year and only has played over 70 games 1 times since 2018. He makes 5m for 1 more year

So in this climate, any trade involving that much money for an injury prone player who doesnt produce, is gonna need at least a 1st to move

He wasn't injury prone at all. The isles scratch him most of the year. Regardless, we aren't moving a 1st for him. If we can't move him for something reasonable, we will send him to the minors for his final year. There is absolutely no reason to give up prime draft capital for something like this were we control where he can go.

If Monahan required a 1st so will Bailey, it's a different story if YOU don't want to, but this will be the cost if LOU wants to make other moves.

Even Lou isn't that stupid....so don't worry your Habs won't get our 1st.
