First off, K'Andre Miller isn't being traded period because he has all the tools and skills to be a shut down top pair LD for a lot of years, the kind of D you build an entire defense around, plus he has a ton of offensive ability. He is off limits. 2nd, Laffy is 3 LW only because Gallant misused him for 2 years and the kid has a lot more room to grow and become a legit top line LW. 3rd...the salary cap is real weather you like it or not and the ONLY way Marner goes to NY is if Panarin goes the other way. Other than that, there is no trade to be made for Marner.

Panarin is the exact opposite type forward the leafs are looking for in the top 6. Leafs would never trade Marner for any player with a similar style.
