I don't get how Sens could get more for DeBrincat than what CHI got. He has a statistically worse season behind him, and a higher cap hit ahead of him.

Becasue he comes with an 8 year deal lol... ottawa got cat so cheap because he had 1 year left on a deal with a 9 million dollar qo for the next season... so even with a dip in production which should see a bump next season being that his shooting percentage was 4 % lower then his career average so we can look to see that even out which would easily makes him a 30 goal 75 point player with an even higher ceiling. I think its fair value if you get him for 8 years

But he doesn't come with an 8 year deal. He comes with 0 years left with a QO of 9 million (=one season with a cap hit of 9 million is what a team can be sure of).

Ur a comedian lol what is the overpay? That whole deal is scraps. A goalie the flyers don’t need, a 2nd next year, and a solid prospect? Other than the prospect there’s nothing there for the Flyers to accept they laugh and hang up

Wsh declines their trade as well for the same reason. 8th Overall is not available for DeBrincat.

Ottawa should stop trading young goalies and trust in their development. I wanted the sens to trade up for him in his draft and to my utter shock they did. Would be a shame to throw that away when he's 22.
That's my dream for them lol

I have learned every Sens goalie prospect is worth at minimum 2 firsts apparently so

You're a joke, Philly laugh at the Carter Hart trade, That doesn't come close to getting Hart out of Philadelphia.

That joke of an offer doesn't get Alex DeBrincat out of Ottawa, Detroit would blow that away.

Lame offer for Carter Hart isn't even close. Briere laugh and tells Dorion to take a hike.

Make the 1st 2024 and I think both sides accept. Don’t think the caps move 8OA for Debrincat
