Hawks decline. They don't need retention on Myers, and they definitely aren't trading anything to get him.

The only way I see the Hawks acquiring Myers is if they trade Murphy. Myers would take his place at RD for a season. Ideally, get a decent pick and/or prospect for Murphy and also an adder from the Canucks to take on Myers' cap hit.
