Huh, my whole point was to comment on how pitiful ALL of these are for the other teams and how unrealistic this is. No **** that trade is bad for Detroit…

The Flames would go for it. They'll need to move more players for the cap to fit. Potentially move one of Mangiapane/Toffoli for futures, and D prospects.

"All in" and trading Guentzel are mutually exclusive.
Wings trade makes no sense for Detroit, and I seriously doubt Carter waives. Neither the Bruins nor the Flames trade is good for Pittsburgh.
I trust Jarry/DeSmith more than I trust Korpisalo/Vladar.

Gee Detroit takes on 4.3M in cap. For basically the same player we can draft at 17. Yeah Yzerman would pass on that. We don't want Carter or Rutta.
