Well, I am all for acquiring some cap dumps that bring along some picks, but most of these are one sided in favor of Chicago.

Looking at your line up for next season, Bedard is missing. Also, your defense is loaded with veterans. It's time for some of the young D like Vlasic, Phillips, and Kaiser to play regularly, show what they got, and to determine if they'll be in the mix long term.

Why would Boston do that when Reilly bought out cap hit is 333k.

It's not that unrealistic. OEL is an anchor. To clear 7+ mil for 4 yrs a 1st would be cheap.

Nobody is giving up 11OA in one of the deepest drafts of all time to move a guy as a cap dump. Give me a break.

It's realistic. I would prefer a buyout but if you want that anchor off the team that price is reasonable. Just shows us how stupid that trade really was. We gave up the 9ths picks to get the guy who anyone with half a brain knew was washed. And now here we are realistically looking to buy him out because no one will take him.

You seem pretty adamant though so you probably have a good idea...What do you think it would cost to trade OELs contract? And what precedent are you using to find that value?

Even if the other GMs would accept (they wouldn’t) that is way to many prospects to develop. Did you have a plan for all of them?
