    I have a feeling we are on Carlos NTC, and Nuge has a NMC too. Doubt he waives after signing that deal. Not a bad idea, just think the clauses are the big reason why this probably wouldn’t happen.

    The team is now substantially worse. RNH was a 100 point scorer on a 5 mil deal and has always been an oiler. RNH is worth much more than that package alone. Just a bad trade for edmonton

    Also I know the caption says ignore signings but I can't when I saw the 3x6 u just offered a washed Foligno (who was a cap dump on Boston)

    Well Boston fans don’t have a say so it doesn’t really matter what we think.

    What I can tell you is this. The org loves Carlo. They refused to include In trades for Landy and Horvat. Edm would never pay that much for him. And the rumor I have been hearing is Ullmark for RNH more than anything else. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    Clearly, you haven't followed the news around Okposo since he was named captain last fall - he was just re-signed because of how much importance the team places on his leadership, not only for the young players and his teammates but as a voice and advisor to the coach and GM.

    There's about as much of a chance that the Sabres trade him in what will be most likely his final season as there is of the Oilers trading McDavid.

    The most laughable part about this is how you gave Foligno 6 years at 3 mil when he was already on a terrible contract and he's only getting older.

    Sabres just re-signed Okie and he is their captain, I don't think they will be looking to trade him.

    A player in Edmonton would waive their NMC to go to the Bermuda triangle

    Yeah that is the only problem I see in this I think I could change the defencemen but RNH's NMC is the big problem

    Another thing that I just did it to fill a roster spot wasn't doing it for anything other than that

    No I knew that I just traded for him to get a roster spot filled for the asthetic of seeing a full roster

    Yeah but they need defencemen and RNH only got points for being on the PP so... yeah but Idk what other teams would take him for a defencemen + depth guy or 2 defencemen

    I mean he didn't "decide" to stay.... he hasn't been put in a trade with the ability to waive the clause
