I wasn't sure which second-round pick would make the most sense, so I picked randomly. Scott Powers talked about the Blackhawks moving up in the draft and suggested the Canucks as the best suitable trade partner. Thoughts on something like this happening between the two teams? Canucks save cap space on a long-term contract and the Blackhawks get closer to the cap floor, and get a winger for Bedard

Vancouver isn’t paying to dump garland he’s not a negative asset, they’d use this package and move up in the draft if anything. If you want Vancouver to trade down take either Myers or OEL

OEL is untradable and no one is trading for Myers until after his bonus is paid and wingers like Garland have negative value
Canucks will have to move back to dump Myers, Garland and if they don't do it by the draft the price goes up with more teams having less cap space

Garland is a negative asset just not this big of one.

Myers is a 1 year contract, we're not paying to move him now.

Myers is the choice, since he's only one year. VAN is stuck with OEL
