Not even a bad offer but I'm still hesitant to trade Pettersson.

Come on now. You get the two best players in a trade and you hesitate. Talk about clutching pearls.

Pettersson is one of the best defensive dmen on a very good deal. Sens also getting 14th overall and cap space to add some 2 way players and a goalie

It does seem kinda bad on the surface but the thing it does is return two solid players who are much lower cap hits. And a 1st. It's an interesting deal.

I’d rather keep Garland than move him for a downgrade with minimal cap savings, especially since it won’t help us clear the logjam of wingers we have

I understand what Ottawa is getting. Pettersson was basically useless to Pitt fans as recently as last season. Imagine what DeBrincat and Crosby would do. And Chabot. Who cares about the 14th pick. Youll be in for a yrs of pain by the time the pick produces if ever.

I like the general way of what you're doing here, but you're being too generous.

Garland is not on a good contract, either is Joseph. So why trade for a worse contract than Joseph's? IDK why a lot of sens fans bring him in. He's just a downgrade from Debrincat, on a cheaper contract. Teams don't win the Cup with guys like Debrincat or Garland

Garland just had 46pts and would be a great middle 6 guy and he gets all those points with barely playing on the PP if not at all. Meanwhile Joseph had 3 goals and 18pts lol

Csick Dude anymore you're getting so laugh DeBeincat or Chabot by themselves are worth more than that joke of an offer. Pittsburgh is heading for the crapper just like Washington and Boston. Trade makes 0 sense.

This is the type of trade I can see Dubas making (not this specific one just a top of the lineup players one) to put his stamp on the roster… players like pettersson and Petry or any of our top-6 wingers going out to shake up the group… pit would add to that trade I think unless I’m overvaluing Chabot but pit would have to move some serious cap to do that I think

But I guess I found my line lol

This is not acceptable at all in OTT
