You're delusional on the Bratt signing, Try more like 8x7.75M at the very least.

Edmonton can't afford Marner, Even at nearly $7,000,000 you'd need to take back a similar cap.

The Nylander trade is a joke, Detroit would offer far better than that joke of an offer.

Bratt didn't sign a long term deal last offseason and instead signed a 1 year at 5.45 mil. Why would he then decide to sign long term for less than that?
