I don't think the Sabres would have any interest in Reese, and I don't think they would give up that much for Murphy.

I think it would be a mutually beneficial move but I’m open to swapping Reese for another player… if Buffalo has the cap I think Dickinson would be a good fit too.

Sabres really don't need any forwards, they already have a few log jams there. Their needs are really just a top 4 D (preferably right handed) and a veteran starting goalie. I can't see them spending assets on other places. I would say drop one of the seconds and only include Murphy.
