WPG wins the DET trade, but barely. The #17 pick is good, but the rest is garbage.
WPG wins the CAR trade. DEAL from WPG, but NO WAY the Canes take that one.
WPG wins the MTL trade. DEAL from WPG, but NO WAY MTL goes for that. They still think they are getting Dubois at the end of the season for nothing.

I'm kinda shocked Detroit fans are so against this trade. MS55 could be a really good addition to their team and his value is very similar to Bo Horvat's (the pick used to get Horvat is literally in this trade too). Zadina and Veleno are both more or less rec projects at this point so i don't think their value is particularly high. But if Detroit values drafting for what might be in 3-5 years more than trying to improve their roster now then I can understand

someone should just make a section of capfriendly ACGM for the Jets fans. A little corner where they can vent their frustrations with their team by overvaluing their players.

Wings pass. Not because of player value, but because Stevie Y seems to take great care regarding keeping the locker room positive (see Vrana being traded for nothing). Schiefele, while a good player, has a lot of those types of concerns attached to him, so I doubt he's someone Stevie would target

but it's not all the same Dach + Barron for Dubois cookie cutter trade. At least they're semi creative(and ik, there are some really delusional Habs people)
