What's the price for a 40 goal scoring UFA rental for a team that still wants to compete?

Leafs don't need picks and prospects, they need good NHL players coming back in the trade.

Connor has 3 years left on his deal at a great cap hit. He has way more value than Nylander.

Again, in this trade, the Jets are trading for a rental.

I’d rather 1 year of Nylander and he walks than whatever Wheeler is and an extra year of Pionk at almost 6 million.

And that also means taking away valuable ice time from a developing Liljegren
