I dont think Dumba is a good player to sign based on his age, and he'll get more than that.

I don't think he is going to get a very lucrative contract. His performance has dipped significantly since his pec injury. I think he signs a 1 or 2 year deal in hopes of creating some long term value again.

I know you said anywhere but u put Flyers so I’ll comment. The Flyers won’t touch him if it’s only a 4th coming back because he is owed $15M over 3 years. Not sure any team touches him for that prices but the Flyers definitely don’t

Dumba is good but we don't really need another offensive-minded defensemen, I think spending that money on a more defensive guy would be much better

I chose Philly because I could see torts liking him. Im not a big fan of Garland but I think he is getting undervalued here. He is still a solid middle 6 winger. Bjorkstrand, while slightly better than Garland, was owed 21.6mil over 4 years and returned a 3rd and 4th last offseason. With cap increases on the horizon getting paid a 4th to take a 45-55pt player seems like a decent deal for a team that isn't expecting to be overly competitive in the short term.

I feel like he still shores up the defense decently and it's a short term commitment. As much as we need defensive dmen we also need some guys that can shoot the puck and Dumba would help with that. Plus this management has targeted mobility over size on the back end so far with guys like Hronek, bear, and Hirose. Not sure if that trend continues or not but that is what they've done so far.
