Created by: SKWPG
Team: 2023-24 Winnipeg Jets
Initial Creation Date: May 29, 2023
Published: May 29, 2023
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
DON'T LOOK AT THE TRADES TOO MUCH. The Trades are just a means to an ends. Obviously will need to change them a bit, maybe do more retention, throw in picks, etc, but building a team that is an ends to a means.

Obviously the Buffalo and Arizona trades aren't remotely realistic.

And what i find more hilarious, Is that you honestly believe that Jasper Bratt would sign a $6,000,000 offer sheet. When he's going to get at least 8 x $7,750,000 if not slightly more.

Lol might isn't trading foligno, nor giving up a 2nd round pick in another deal to take on your cap dumps contracts especially when they are in cap hell. Deal Nate S and Neal P else. . Bunch of nothing pieces isn't getting foligno

The Trades aren't meant to be realistic. As per my description. This was just an exercise to see what a Cap would look like with money held, players moved, etc. Just building a roster, etc... Moreso just for myself. But, the BUF trade is realistic. I've seen similar posted.

. Poor Ryan Johnson. This California lad had a chance to be a UFA in August. He gave that up to sign with the Sabres . Good for the Sabres and Johnson who signed with good young team with hope. Then (by this post) he gets traded to Winnipeg.

Buffalo trade isn't realistic for buffalo. Scheifele isn't a fit and the sabres give up too much then for just helle

He and Kevyn Adams got into a fist fight, so that was that. Banished to WPG. BUF has enough crazy talented D. They can afford to give one up. smile

That seems like an AWFUL lot of money to give Dylan Samberg, when Sean Durzi got $1.7 million and Rasmus Sandin and Tim Liljegren both got $1.4 million after 88 and 74 games, respectively.

Samberg has proven he's a top 4 D and the Jets can't risk losing him. But, I'm sure Chevy will try and get him for less.

It's still a No. Minnesota isn't trading foligno for a bunch of long term contract of dman they have 0 need for and nothing pieces. Stop dumping contract on Minnesota which has 8 Mil in capspace

Probably an early 3rd and so so prospect or a late 2nd at best.

If the wild had any cap space at all they would do it, we obviously dont, and that’s way too much for Foligno, i get this wasn’t meant to be realistic at all but I’m still feeling like commenting about it

I would be listening in for the Lucius-Konecny deal. I think another draft pick, maybe another 2nd or a 3rd could be added to make it a deal; but that's just my thoughts. I'll be honest, I am not the best at measuring draft pick values.

Yeah TK 100% is taking back a 2023 1st and a good prospect. As the guy above me said flip the 2nd to a 1st and it’s probably close to a deal

What about if we throw in a 2nd round pick we got from AZ or the 1st next year?
