Fantilli is amazing. Can't argue with that. BUT Hawks can't even consider trading away Bedard. You just can't do it. No matter what.

The hawks sold over 2 mil in season tickets after they won the draft lottery. Proof that Bedard is a cash cow. They're not giving that up for anything

Mike Doneghey did refer to Bedard AND Fantilli as the only two "Generational players" in the draft in one of the interviews he did recently. Which scares me. Fantilli is undeniably awesome, but, even still, there is an obvious and rather large gap between the two. I hope they don't overthink this and draft Fantilli instead at 1st overall. I get that Fantilli is a very well rounded 200ft player, but does that really make up for the gap in skill? There shouldn't be a question.
