Luke Schenn will probably sign 1-2 year deals until he retires as a Leaf. He reportedly doesn't want to play anywhere else and bought a house there.

I like Killorn, but not at that contract. I know Detroit would have to overpay to get him, which is why I just don't think he's a fit.

Stolarz, meh... almost rather just keep Hellberg at that point.

I'm not buying killorn, he's a good dude but he'll never live up to that contract. I'd rather risk the dollars on a guy like Barbashev or Domi.

I could see Schenn doing that. Makes sense. I like him as a player.
Killorn I would rather 2 years but think he would need at least 3 to sign. He would make Perron somewhat expendable if he doesn't resign for a reasonable amount. He will score 25-30 goals, he might sign for cheaper being Yzerman.
Stolarz is actually a decent goalie. Good save percentage with a really bad team. He put up good numbers the seasons prior and is young enough to still improve.

I'd stay away from Killorn. 3x6 is a lot for a player with a lot of mileage. I'd probably do 2x5 at most, but he'll get more than that. I think Tampa finds a way to keep him, and if not, I could see him go to a true contender, which we aren't.

That's fair. I think Barby and Domi stay put honestly. I think he is the most realistic option for a free agent to get more scoring. Contract may not be ideal, could maybe take a year off if he is willing or some aav

Totally agree which is why I overpaid him.

meh... Stolarz is turning 30 this season and has never shown anything to me to suggest he's a capable 1b goalie, which is really what Detroit needs. If they sign a true backup, Husso will burnout late again and we're right back to square one... they realistically need a guy that can start 30+ games a season and give you a legit chance to win every night.
