Why not just sign the younger Lindholm to Miller's deal?

Miller's not a team guy.

Calgary isn't bad, and likely doesn't need any changes to the roster, Sutter's style was too defensive for the roster that was built.

Run it back with a new coach who lets Huberdeau be himself and control the pace of play.

I don't mind the idea of Miller for Hanifin as long as Vancouver is able to extend Hanifin, however unless Vancouver has something worked out ahead of time to fill the 2C position that Miller would be vacating I'm not sure they can make this deal. 2C's may be harder to find than top 4 D this offseason, and Vancouver would then need to fill both their 2C and 3C positions.

Columbus doesn't consider that, Calgary doesn't have the assets to get that pick from them
