That’s a very steep price for Kuzy without any retention.

You'd have to add at least a 1st to any deal involving Lindholm

That package for TK definitely gets outbid. Late 1st, a struggling prospect that was supposed to be great, and two 2nds in 3 drafts will definitely be outbid by someone else

Calgary easily declines this Lindholm is younger an produced at.88 ppg since joining Calgary (last 5 years). He is one of the best defensive centers in the league. His GSVA was 2.2 vs Kuznetsov's 0.10 GSVA. It's a rolling 3 year regression so Lindholm a numbers are superior to Kuznetsov, yet you clearly think Kuznetsov is worth a haul and Lindholm can be acquired for two busts and two 3rds.

Carbery was a finalist for the Sharks coaching job too. I think he will make a good coach. Good signing.

I don't think this package gets Lindholm but calling McMichael a bust is completely incorrect.

If that's what I'm getting for Lindholm then I'd rather just keep him and see what I can get at the deadline, or lose him for nothing... Because that's what you're offering.

McM is a bust?? spoken like a person who hasnt watched him play at all. you should really educate yourself on a player before making foolish claims...

His AHL totals aren't overly impressive for someone drafted 4 years ago. It's not like he is projecting to be a top line player in the NHL, and Calgary has a plethora of bottom 9 wingers in the farm.

his back half of his AHL season was much more impressive and his deployment in DC was an issue... much like Stephenson Vrana and Sieg. Capitals have just hired the headcoach that McM had his most productive/ best season w. People forget he was compared to Cozen and won the Center spot over him at WJ18. BECAUSE Washington doesnt develop well doesnt mean he's a "bust". Watch him play or look past box scores or use a combo of both to gain a better understanding

That's fair. I haven't seen him play, so I'm just looking at the raw stats. Calgary had the leading AHL scorer sitting on the bench for his entire stint in the NHL, so I empathize with players not being developed properly.

Regardless, Lindholm isn't being traded for that package.
