He may block it but then he’s playing on the Condors in the A after clearing waivers. I think he would waive cause Helly/Skinner would be the tandem and he would know it.
I like this deal, I think it may be tweaked depending on scouts (Holloway instead of Borgault for example) but is a decent basis for a trade. Jets get a goalie to help with a few years of lotto picks until we see what we have in DD, a few young prospects that are looking decent and some picks to top it off. It might be tough for a another team to beat a deal like this.
Take Campbell out of this and its an overpay, cant see any team giving this much for Hellebuyck.
I really think each of Helle, Scheifele and PLD (if they're traded)
will go for similar returns whether they're traded this summer or by the 2024 TDL and they'll probably be similar to the Horvat deal but the 1sts won't be as early as that one was and if they're traded next season or at the TDL it might be an expiring contract going to the Jets and not a guy with another year of term like Beauvillier had.
So a mid to late 1st, a B- to A- level prospect and a lineup player of low to mid level ability which really isn't all that different then the Copp trade was.
Maybe Campbell would waive, he's a Michigan guy and has been playing in Canada for awhile but who knows.
I have no idea what the Oilers cap situation is for next season so don't know if they can fit Helle though if the Jets retained then I'm sure they could, are the Jets willing to retain on Bucky in a summer trade though, not sure about that.
These other trades suggested here are not happening, Boston isn't doing that nor is Edmonton trading RNH, Ottawa and Seattle are the totally wrong teams to send those players to.
