Rather just keep Hall & the 3rds. RNH is coming off a career year that is a HUGE outlier when you look at his body of work.

    Last season
    1.26 P/GP & 18.4 S%

    3yr Average Prior
    0.81 P/GP & 10.6 S%

    5yr Average Prior
    0.81 P/GP & 12.3 S%

So his production last season at 55% increase from both his 3yr and 5 year average. His S% last season was also 50% higher than his 5yr average. RNH prior to last season never broke 70pts and only broke 60pts twice in his 11yr career. He had 53pts on the PP last year which is absurd. If you look at his career PP Production, just over 20% of his total production game during the past season.

If Bergy retires... the B´s should definitely accept! RNH would have some brutal wings in Boston, which would probably keep his production high (if not nessessarily that high as this season).

I agree that his season was a heavy outlier and he will not reproduce anything like it, but I believe boston will be very prone to overpay for a Centreman with Bergeron and kreichi futures with the team in doubt. Hall and two thirds shouldn’t be two steep of a price honestly

Next year is Boston's 100th season. At minimum I expect Bergeron back. Even if Krejci doesn't return, they have Zacha who played center last year when Krejci was out. Coyle slots in a 3C where he was and that leaves a spot at 4C.
