Still too much for Gadhovich (from a sharks fans perspective) and word is NYR are willing to add assets as high as a 2nd to move Goodrow so at the very least him and a 3rd for FC

I'm not 100%, but I believe Chicago says yes to this.

I was thinking a replacement for Wayne Simmonds who is likely retiring, we need a guy who can fight. With Gadjovich being only 24, I figured he would still have upside in performance, but worst case he plays a 4th line enforcer role since he was top 5 in fights last year. Did you see any potential skill out of the guy at all? Or just enforcer?

He isn’t a negative player but he isn’t more than a 4th liner in the sharks so with you guys he’s the 12/14 forward. Won’t hurt you if he plays 7-11 min a night

The value in the Murphy trade is fairly close, but I don't think the Hawks will trade Murphy this off season. The Hawks landing #1 overall (most likely Bedard) changes things for Chicago I think. After the way Murphy stepped up leadership wise after the TDL was impressive. I can definitely see a scenario where Bedard lives w/ Murphy during his rookie season and Murphy mentors him as he transitions to the NHL. I could be all wrong too. I just feel like it now takes an overpay to get Murphy out of Chicago, and this deal isn't an overpay.
