Would be cool to have both Lucius bro's but can't see Connor being a player that's moved this year.

Connor had 9 more points than Necas and is several years older... Necas can also play C, and makes half of what Connor does. Necas' value right now is straight up higher than Connor's

Albeit this isn't enough for him, you'd ad least need Morrow

I don't get why we'd do the Chicago trade? Puljujarvi is a better fit than Blackwell.

WPG has to take this. Connor > Necas, but not by a lot. Add in Lucius and all the picks and WPG wins this.

Hawks decline. They don't need another young D clogging up the pipeline and don't have a helmet to fit Poolparty.

Although, I understand where you are coming from, I disagree. Coghlan is a Right Shot Defensman, a position of which CHI has very little depth at. I would absolutely buyout Zaitsev and trade Mitchell to throw Cogz into the lineup and see what happens. He has shown flashes of great play and is at a ripe age for a breakout season. He is also a pretty good skater which is something CHI covets. At the price of Blackwell, I think both him and JP would be great candidates for low trade cost, low cap hit, low risk, possible high reward, acquistions.

I didn't know Coghlan was a RD. It may be worth it taking a flyer on him, and move on from Zaitsev and Mitchell.

Chicago trade is assuming Coghlan has no interest resigning in liekly due to Chatfeild having a better year, Puju also the same in a sense while Carolina is a good fit, he will be able to play with Bedard in Chicago and maybe allow him to get more minutes and special teams minutes which he never got/took advantage of thus far, Blackwell Chicago will be fine with giving up for the potential of puju and coghlan, it gives carolina a bottom 6 pk player
