Hertls age is what will prevent him from going to Detroit, so it's a pass

Agreed. Him not signing means very little, considering he can hold off until the NCAA season is done, and still burn a year off his ELC.

Arizona has no use for Barabanov right now. A cap strapped team would give the most value for him.

Apart from that, Bordeleau, 9th overall, 28th overall, and 36th overall would be literally insane to trade away in this draft. As amazing as Cooley looks like he'll be, you never know how they'll transition to pro, and with the depth in this draft there's a solid chance that multiple of those picks could end up being a top 6/top 4 or even an elite talent. Add to that Barabanov's objective value is a 1st plus (nearly 60 pt pace at 2.5 mil contract) and Bordeleau has potential to be a solid 2nd line center in the NHL, this value is WAY too much to give up

Man how did Tomas Hertl all the sudden become damn near 30. I’d be interested still but not in this exact deal.

Wings aren't likely to trade a top 10 pick for someone older than Larkin. If that pick is moving its for someone who fits the timeline better (Keller as an example)

Seattle retains the draft capital, maybe makes a move after 23/24 when they have more roster and cap flexibility. Wennberg doesn't get moved until they know what they have in Wright or his contract runs out after 23/24.
