WPG says... Honzek at 18 is decent. I have him ranked 17. But, I have Cristall at 12, so taking him instead.

The Blues won;t be taking any of those players in the 1st. Wingers are far and away the last thing they need (even if Barlow would be a perfect style fit for the Blues), Berube would strangle Dragicevic within an hour (and there's literally 10+ far better Dmen still on the board) and Sawchyn is like a 3rd-4th round talent, man.

In this scenario, think more like Reinbacher, Stramel and one of Lindstein/Willander/Price/Molendyk/Simashev/Bonk.

Sharks ask for more in that trade. Essentially giving up Matvei Michkov, a 3rd rounder, and Noah Gregor who is young and is probably worth a 2nd/3rd to drop down 2 spots, 2nd round and a 3rd round? Sharks should be asking for futures or taking off either noah or the 3rd round pick.

See the players I picked in those spots? Theyre very good. Not competing for a few years and no were not getting more in that trade. I am being realistic.

As I said, its subjective, man. Barlow is a high end shot power forward. Stramel should not go in the first…but if you prefer, have fun!

Cristall over Honzek? I don’t see it. Both good but Honzek is pretty good. I see Honzek as a great fit in Winnipeg to play with McGroarty if Rutger plays C.

Okay, but subjective is best when informed. smile The Blues have three blue chip winger prospects, another not far off that tier, plus Kyrou and other on the team who are still young. On the other hand, they have one blue chip C prospect and none in defense.

Just listen to the first few lines of this. He is a highlight reel on skates. His projection is between #6 for McKeens and the Hockey News, #8 for Elite Prospects, all the way to #16, #18 and #24.

Loving his points at 95 in 54 games. His PPG was 2nd to Bedard. Honzek is 8 in PPG.

I'm right around the middle at #12. Again, I have Honzek at 17, so I wouldn't be disappointed to see him selected by the Jets.

If you watch that video and don't agree, then no big deal. We can just agree to disagree.

I get your points I guess I am personally just higher on Honzek but taking Cristall isn’t a bad choice at all. Skating and speed is a slight concern for Cristall for me, size too but the league is quietly drifting to smaller players anyway. I dont take points in juniors too seriously as many players who underachieve on NhL ice can have amazing juniors seasons (see Yakupov, Lafreniere, many others).

Overall I don’t think hes a bad choice, just not my preference.

Reinbacher isn't lasting past #10.

If that's the way this draft shakes out, and I pray that it does, Los Angeles would take Caden Price or whoever is available from Bjarnason and Hrabal at #54, and Anaheim would take Musty or Ziemmer at #33.

If the sharks trade back I would hope to recoup a 2nd first! But yea Leonard fills a real need in a top line RW.
That being said I think the sharks are giving up too much here. I would be cool with 4th OA for 6th, 38th, & 70th.
Based on draft simulator the 4th OA is worth 20,000 points and the 6th, 38th, & 70th is worth 19,760.

I dont think moving back two spots is worth that.

What are you on about? I was kidding around. After politely informing you. If THAT is insufferable to you, maybe the Blues fans aren't actually the issue.

if it’s a top 5 pick it is!
For reference to move from 4 to 2 would cost 4th OA 26th and 36th plus the 101st.
And based on the player available would/ could push the value up. In this draft to move to 2nd would cost 4th 26th and a 24 1st plus

Go play with the mock draft simulator it’s fun!

Totally understand where you're coming from, but there's no guarantee with any trades. For the value of the 4th OA for the 6th +2 picks, we should't have to give up as much as you've offered is all.

Can't see Reinbacher dropping to 16 or Dvorsky falling to 19.

Very odd that you think you know more than anyone else. You don’t. You are not special.
