I like Mangiapane as a player but don't see the Hawks giving up what amounts to a late 1st (#35) for him. As your title says, he's probably too old to fit the Hawks rebuild timeline.

I like Shane Wright but that is alot for a guy who isn't even ppg in the AHL right now.

Only 2 years left on the contract, how about one of the later 2nd rounds.

That's probably more realistic. Really depends on what other moves Hawks make leading up to the draft and once free agency opens. Can't see Hawks adding more than two top 6 forwards. Wouldn't see this trade happening until early July if it happens at all.

Yeah it's a lot but I doubt Seattle really considers it either, Francis would have to be drunk and missing Hanifin and Lindholm.

I think Shanes still a good bet, his developments been screwed by covid and Seattle played some games to slide his contract.
