Seems to be a personal problem. Suggest you figure that out.

Hawks decline. That might be the worst trade proposal for Murphy I've ever seen on this site.

And when did Marchment become a cap dump?

    1. He doesn't. He's a replacement level player at best.
    2. He has 3 years left on his deal. Asking a team to take on that contract will require some decent comp.

Grushnikov is a good player, and is more in line with the young core they're about to develop. Also he's cheaper. The Hakanpaa is a cap dump. He only has 1 year left at low dollars, so not worth too much. Marchment became a cap dump around Halloween. He's terrible and he's locked up for 3 more years. Convincing a team to take his contract is not going to be easy.

Fair point on Grushnikov, but Hawks have 6 left shot D prospects they are high on, including two former 1st rounders. Last thing they'd want is yet another.

Didn't realize Marchment was so bad. Thanks for the knowledge

Did he really trade Mushy for "Future Considerations"? Really? A player who slightly regressed from his monsterous final Florida year? Really? That's all? Dallas will HAPPILY DECLINE. I would've happily tried to go for Brent Burns or Timo Meier for Suter and Faksa than that bad trade. Bertuzzi however is a shout and a very far reach but is possible if we buyout said Suter and or Hakanpaa. I said "or" because Jani plays like he's hit or miss. Once he hits like he was in Carolina, he's good. When he misses, he's one of the worst D men in the league. However signing Domi, Dadonov, and Dellandrea is the move to go for Dallas Fans like myself. All 3 played like they were desperate for a contract. All 3 played like they were peak in every game. All 3 played like they were showing Jim Nill they will never accept a trade deal that was given for them.
