Very easy no from SJ. Not close. Replace Boeser with Podkolzin if you want to be serious.

Maybe something along the lines of 11OA/Podz/Raty would get the deal done. Certainly one of Carlsson/Michkov/Smith would definitely help us more than the other pieces.

As a Vancouver fan I would be totally ok with this, however I personally don't think that's enough to get the deal done. Your getting a not to distant number 1C at pick 4. I have heard/read multiple times that the top 5 in this draft would all be first overall picks in most draft years.

Who knows, Grier would probably really like Podkolzin and SJ could still nab a really good player at 11.

Never know for sure. I am personally surprised to hear SJ is even considering moving the pick, first line centers are hard and expensive to acquire. If they can acquire one through the draft I personally wouldn't pass up on it, not every year the draft is this strong and has as many C's projected with such high probability, I would be happy as a Van fan if the did though!

Would you do Podz + Lekkerimaki + pick 11 for pick 4?

None of that is interesting. Podkolzin has been a bust, Raty doesn’t have near the ceiling originally thought, lekkerimaki had a terrible year. None of that is interesting enough to move down 7 spots in this draft

I can't see the Sharks moving that pick, but then again Grier is an idiot. So we'll see.

Feel like that is pretty risky as that is basically our best prospect, our future best prospect, and our former best prospect. Given the state of our prospect pool, we can't afford to trade them all away

Podkolzin is 21 so it is way too early to call a bust. Raty was drafted in the 2nd round. Not sure how high of a ceiling you were expecting. Still outperforming most players in his draft class. Lekkerimakki had a bad year because he was dealing with several injuries. He still put up a point per game in the playoffs

teams generally don't trade out of certain tiers of players. in this draft, there is a clear 1, clear 2-4, clear 5-10, 10-20 etc. I think it would be extremely difficult for vancouver to move up even one tier, let alone two

I mean, they're only really moving up 1 tier. Theres pick 1, pick 2, picks 3-6, and then there is the rest.
