You're 100% correct. It should be the BOS 2025 2nd.

Hawks aren't paying a 4th for Yamo. He's shown he's not a top 6 F and Hawks have plenty of 3rd line options already. Caps don't use #40 to dump Mantha. Kings might consider that. Hawks will definently sign at least one more UFA F too.

The Caps aren’t trading ANY 2nd just to move Mantha.

They should, unless they're tearing it down. He's terrible even when he's on the ice. You and me, can say all we want. HECK, words/claims from the organization can be made. BUT none of those speak louder than actions the organization have made.

Yama is of not much interest. I would give Drouin a year at 3.1 before paying any asset for Yama.

Mantha is most definately a 2nd (which can be a 3rd and and another pick to get to 2nd value or a future 2nd) for the Hawks to take him....and it is perfectly fine if Caps don't want to pay that price and are certainly more than welcome to keep him.

I can't see the Kings doing that deal. GM's have a hard time giving up on guys that they spent high 1st round picks on and can't see them doing anything more than hoping Turcotte can get past his injury issues and see what he looks like this season. Pinelli, Grans, or maybe Spence are the prospects that make way more sense with a pick of some sort (I would say a 2nd but that depends a lot on who is paying Petersen's Summer bonus) make way more sense. Kings have a lot of RHD options and that is an area of the Hawk prospect pool that is thin. Likewise Kings have lots of young center options and centers are always in demand.
