Marner is a very good player, nobody would argue that. He's paid a ton of money (relative to the cap of course) and he only has 2 years left. Just wondering what his trade value really is. How many teams can afford an 11 million dollar winger, while sending a recent 8oa pick on an elc and the 13th overall pick in a very good draft (so basically sending back very nice futures and absorbing most of the 11 million)? And how many of those teams that have both 11 million in cap space, and very promising futures, are in the market for an 11 million dollar winger?
