I like Myers even less than I like Chiarot so I wouldn't accept that trade but there are some Wings fans here that would have no problem taking Myers.

Retention does nothing for Detroit.

Myers+23 3rd for FC and you have a deal. Anything less and there's just no incentive for Detroit to do it

Nope. Van simply has no chance at Carlo. Give it up. You don’t have the assets. The ones that would get him on the table they won’t give up…and shouldn’t.

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Boston move Carlo this summer to create a bit of capspace. I don't see the return being higher than a 1st + 3rd.

Well you’d be wrong.

They have zero depth behind him. He’s their best shutdown D man on a decent contract with term.

There are 6-8 guys they will move for cap space. He isn’t one of them.

On top of all that his NTC kicks in. Van is likely on it.

I thought we were done with "Garland to NSH for a return" crap? WE. DO. NOT. WANT. GARLAND.

You don't want him. Trotz seems to indicate they'd like so more offense. They don't have scoring wingers right now and have a lot of center depth.

This trade was floated to Servalli on the radio the other day as an option and he basically said "sure Vancouver could do that but why would they want to downgrade on garland while still taking 3mil with 3yrs in term on an older player"

There isn't much to see, @gofnut999 is right. Boston has no RHD depth and trading Carlo would make a MASSIVE hole unless they were getting a comparable RHD back. To take it one step further, Boston doesn't need wingers at this time.

Add in the free agent class of RD is trash too.

Only way Boston even consider moving Carlo is for long term answer at C1.

No way in hell they move him for cap space. 🙄

When Connor Clifton is in the top 5 of a UFA market for RHD, you know its not good lol. No offense to Clifton, but he's a 3rd pairing guy at best with consistency issues.
