    I'm surprised the Canucks would give up all that for one year of Matthews. If the Leafs are in sell mode, they easily take that trade and spend 9m on other UFAs. But Dallas doesn't due that Miller trade.

    Depends where he wants to go (should he desire to leave TO). If the luck of the draw was Van, it's not outrageous as he controls his destiny. Don't want to end up like Kane.
