Just goes to show how much you know about barron. He was the 3rd liner until deadline when we added so obviously some players needed to move down. It was his first full year, was key for the pk and had 21 points in 70 games. It's not farfetched to say that he could improve on those stats as he is only 24 years old with 1 nhl season under his belt. Barron could be a guy that like Lowry can get you almost 40 points in a great year but probably settles around 25-35 while also being 6'4. Harris is a useless lhd that mtl doesn't even need once they start being competitive as he would be 3rd pair or depth so you're trying to cash in on the value before it dwindles and Allen and a 4th do nothing. Jets decline rather easily and counter gawanke Gustafsson and 5th for Justin barron

Wouldn't Caufield demand more than 3.2 per season? Seems low to me.
