Paring two offensive defensemen together is a recipe for disaster.

Goaltending still sucks. I don’t think the sharks can really entice any big name free agents, they’ve never really made bud splashes like that or have had luck landing those kinds of guys when pursued

Genuine question. Why is Ferraro worth a 1st?

He's a 2nd round pick who's locked up on a good deal, plays physical, constantly sacrifices, PK expert, still very young, leader and great locker-room fun personality presence, exactly the type of hockey player GMs covet. His value is between two 2nds to a mid-late 1st, I don't there's any controversy there.

I personally would let him go for a 2nd and 3rd if Knyzhov is actually back to form and when Mukhamadullin is ready. But I am not as high on Mario as most Sharks fans.

He seems like. Solid player in a pretty bad situation. But I don’t know enough about his puck moving/if he’s really a guy that profiles in the top 4 on a really good team. He’s not expensive, but he’s not really cheap. Just see him as more of a 2nd rounder type of guy.
