So you make them a functional franchise by destroying all the progress they have made during their rebuild? By going this route they just end up in mediocrity like the Jets. The first thing, and maybe only thing that needs to be done, is replacing the owner.

I am just under the impression it not the poor hockey teams that the Coyotes have put on for their fans year after year, it's that the Coyotes can't get 15,000 fans to pay NHL prices for tickets for 41 games, year after year.
Does moving to Houston guarantee a money making franchise annually? We'll never know until/if it happens. The NHL under Bettman and before Bettman has failed miserably in getting a bigger market share of the USA "sports money." I don't blame the US fans.....people have the choice on how they spend their time and money.
