All of it tbh... Lindholm and those free agents are not the type of players who are going to solve our problems. We need a Clayton Keller type player more than we do an Elias Lindholm type player

I mean it isn't great but the improvement you get from Keller is more than you get from Lindholm

More seriously, I take that trade regardless of retention. A Good player, decent prospect, and 2 high picks, seems like the perfect return.

I don’t think people realize how light the Canes center pipeline really is. I think adding Lindholm would be a solid move as he would be a perfect right handed compliment to Aho as a center in the top 6. KK is the long term Staal replacement, and you can sign a UFA 4C.

The question is - is Drury a 2C?

You can have Rees play 4C... If we can get Lindholm and then get another scorer then it's fine but I just don't want Lindholm to be our only trade we make this offseason
