Philly. Tippet has 1 good season and Caufield basically matched the production in an injury shortened season.

How much do you think would be added to this trade ? I was thinking a 2nd rounder

This is a lose lose trade for everyone involved, nobody will walk away happy. The package the flyers would have to put together for CC would hurt them more than it would help them acquiring CC.

I mean I'd be walking away pretty happy if it was 1 for 1 but

1 for 1 definitely but it never would be that we would have to add a bunch probably which makes no sense to do

I don't get the buzz about trading Caufield because he hasn't resigned yet. The offseason hasn't even fully begun yet, and he can't walk out as a UFA. Caufield will be a Canadien next season.

Everyone with 5% of hockey knowledge knows it, unfortunately, there’s still a 5% out there with no hockey knowledge

You do realize this site is just wild ideas for the most part right ? Too say people don’t have hockey knowledge because of a trade on cap friendly Is a pretty naive statement

And it was reported earlier today by Marino (I know not the most in touch guy out there) that a deal was close with CC and the Habs. He is saying 7-8 years for just less than Zuke money
