Description

Approach veteran free agents to sign cheap one year deals to go for the cup. Selanne did it one year why not these guys. If they truly want to win the cup they would and not let greed get in the way. Improve your defense with 6’5” defensive defensemen. Lines can change has chemistry is found and kids can be brought up if vets need a few games off during the year to keep them fresh for the playoffs. Other options are available for vets like the Stall brothers, Foligno, etc…

Lots of wishful thinking here, starting with the deal to unload Campbell’s contract. No team will take on Campbell without the oilers retaining salary and sweetening the deal with a pick or a prospect.
