Additional Details:
Spend draft and prospect capital to open up a staggering 16.5m in cap previously spent on sub-replacement players. Assuming OEL waives

TOR
  1. 2023 1st round pick (OTT)
  2. 2024 2nd round pick (MTL)
  3. 2025 2nd round pick (TOR)
Additional Details:
I had the thought for this one because Arizona doesn't seem to have any talented D or D prospects, and they're at the point of coming out of their rebuild in the next year or two with Cooley, Guenther, whoever they get at 6, etc. This gives them a PP QB and 1D for the next 8 years. They can more than afford the cap hit, and keep in mind 7 years of team control is valuable.

  1. Rielly, Morgan
  2. Timmins, Conor

Would have to waive his NMC obviously. Gets 4 first-round picks in a row.

STL
  1. Samsonov, Ilya [RFA Rights]
  2. 2023 3rd round pick (PIT)

TOR
  1. 2023 3rd round pick (TOR)
VAN
  1. 2023 4th round pick (DET)

Additional Details:
Move up in the draft aka get their own 3rd back

  1. Lafrenière, Alexis [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
This is an offer sheet, but capfriendly doesn't recognize the picks since they were traded away and then traded back

Even if for some reason Detroit wanted to get Marner; you don't get that much lmfao. Equivalent of 4 and a half firsts.

Tavares, even at that retention, is not worth Byram AND a 1st. Nylander perhaps...But I don't see the Avs moving a 22yr old first pairing dman anyways.

CHI declines. If TOR blows it up, their 2025 1st rounder is likely to be much better than what we would draft with BOS's 2023 1st and 2023 5th combined. And if it is top 10, even better, because then CHI gets an unprotected 2026 1st.

1. Seattle declines unless they're like Vegas. An impending UFA does not get this.

2. Detroit declines obviously.

3. Chicago declines. Much more likely that the '25 pick is better than 28OA.

4. Once again too much for an impending UFA.

5. This would be stupid considering Colorado is great at 1C/2C.

6. He isn't worth that much.

7. Lmao.

8. Bailey at most gets a 2nd added on.

9. Mantha is a FC asset if I've ever seen one.

10. Sens are fine on LHD.

11. Maybe!

12. Lmfao.

13. ROFL.

14. Granlund is bad but not a 2nd bad.

15. His contract isn't so bad that it warrants trading away a pick.

16. He isn't worth this much.

17. Maybe!

18. NYR probably trade him for more.

Tavares is playing for his home town team and he has a NMC, so Toronto is stuck with him for at least 2 more seasons

I can't see Detroit giving up more for Marner than Vegas paid for Eichel.

Kasper should make the Wings out of camp. With what you here Kasper should easily be your 3C and by the end of the season maybe even your 2C.

All leaf players have no value eh? According to this site, if the leafs did a scorched earth rebuild they would somehow end up with less future assets than they currently have.

I am agreeing, they are rentals or terrible players and the good ones make so much money they have negative value. TO would be lucky to not have to move the team after trading everyone because they won't get anything for anyone. It'll cost them

Likely, all Leaf players have no value. Just bums who have negative value.

The blues and Nylander are not a good fit. Nylander is a pending UFA and will most likely look for 8-9 mil on his next contract. The blues already have Kyrou at 8 mil, and then have to re-sign buch in 2 years at probably 8 mil plus and adding another winger at 8 mil makes very little sense. The blues weakness is defense and center depth and Nylander solves neither of those problems.
