Brodie isn’t a cap dump he’s a top 4 d man that plays both sides well. Doesn’t Minnesota want a replacement for dumba?

As for Detroit trade I wasn’t sure how his trade value would be seen. Does adding a 2nd round pick get it done?

Ras is not available unless it’s an overpay. He will be a great middle 6 piece that is affordable and efficient for his cap space when Detroit is competing.

Considering Spurgeon and Addison are playing the Right 1-2, no.... and for a team about to get buyout cap hit violated for 2 years, trading to bring in more salary is clearly not the way to go.

That Arizona deal is a joke, a borderline PPG center with term, for an injured garbage goalie, a mid level prospect and a later 2nd round pick, it would cost that 2nd round pick just to dump Murray, let alone getting anything of value in return.

Rasmussen is actually invaluable to us right now. His play style is something we are sorely lacking and he's only getting better. I wouldn't say he has lived up to being drafted ninth overall but right now we should trade him unless it's a massive overpay. The guy just isn't available unless it's a deal around Marner and that just doesn't make sense for either team.

He’s got 36 goals in 250 games. I think you’re an overvaluing him just a bit. Your getting a guy with a high ceiling in Robertson and a solid 5/6 defence man who is great on the pp and both are young

Arizona doesn’t want to pay 6 million for an often injured player for 3 more years infront of 5000 fans. Murray has one year left and minten is a good prospect. Leafs retain 1.5 mil on Brodie that make you happy? Like I said Brodie plays both sides equally well. He was the best defenceman on a 111 point team In the regular season.

Considering we have spurgeon, Addison and Brock faber, no we don't. Besides we aren't taking in your worst contract or An LD when Minnesota is absolutely stacked at that position abd has zero room. Foligno is everything to our gm abd cheaper, abd better contract

Combined cap hits of Arvidsson and Durzi = $5,950,000
Combined cap hits of Nylander and roster player to replace Durzi = $8 million

No can do.

The game is not all about points. Ras started bottom line and worked his way up. Before his injury he was playing LW1 and looked great albeit a small sample size. He won’t be a top line guy, but he has gotten better each season. He also adds physicality and will be a guy who hopefully signs long term like Nick Paul in TB.

Isles easily decline. Not trading a 2nd rounder for a 31/32 yr old 3rd line winger.

We will not trade anymore picks for bottom 6 players - especially over 30

Rasmussen is excellent on defense and PK and does contribute offensively when given the chance. He's been played in the bottom six almost exclusively due to us having too many LW so he hasn't been given the opportunity to amass a lot of points. He isn't going to be traded in a deal like this.

If you're interested in Kubalík instead then there might be a deal to be had here. I'd have to know more avout Timmins and his knee injuries but if he checks out and has some upside then maybe something could be worked out.

It seems that Toronto fans think that all the other GM's in the NHL will just help out the Maple Leafs at their own expense. Time to become realistic. Toronto is probably not trading any of their top players.
